Even in a down market there are the occasional properties that performance against the curve. One such property is One Bal Harbour, in you guessed it, Bal Harbour FL.
Despite everything negative that can be said about the Miami market, we do have some of the best Oceanfront Real Estate on the East Coast. The balmy winter weather and relative close proximity to New York, Chicago, Boston, and DC is the number one contributor to the survival of the vacation home market. However, this truism itself cannot explain such astounding numbers.

Thus far in 2008 a total of 65 condos have sold at One Bal Harbour. That is nearly 60% of the entire available inventory which makes One Bal Harbour the most active condo in Miami-Dade.
Since our office was responsible for over 12% of the sales, I dug a little deeper and contacted a few buyers. What I found should not come as a surprise; each buyer indicated three reasons why they decided to buy:
